Jacob when he was born, seemed to have some red in his hair, but we were wrong, he ended up as blonde as could be. He was quite an adventurous little boy, always experimenting and checking things out. One time Cathi left Gordon home with him and while Gordon was napping Jacob had managed to get all the spices he could find and spread them all over the landing on the stairs. What a mess! He also exhibited a sense of being able to tolerate pain. He fell quite a bit and when he got hurt he wouldn't cry very long. He broke his leg when he was about 2 falling off a bar stool. He hobbled around on that leg that was fully cast until it was taken off. We were worried that it would affect his walk, but he was fine. Here is Jacob around 15 months:
